- How much do solar panels cost in Cyprus?
- The cost follows system size rather than roof area, and size should follow your consumption. We publish recorded ranges per kWp with the sample size behind them, so you can sanity-check a quote before you sign it.
- How long do solar panels take to pay back in Cyprus?
- Faster than in most of Europe, because irradiation is high and electricity is not cheap. The honest answer depends on your own bill and how much you use during daylight, which is why the payback tool asks for both.
- Are there grants for solar panels in Cyprus?
- Yes, and the schemes change. The grant pages carry the current scheme with the date it was last checked, because an out-of-date grant figure will quietly wreck a payback calculation.
- Do I need permission to install solar panels in Cyprus?
- Domestic rooftop systems are generally straightforward, but grid connection goes through the EAC and net metering has its own application. An installer who cannot explain that process is telling you something useful.
